School Age Practitioner

This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating fun, engaging, and supportive experiences for children after their school day. As a key member of our afterschool team, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and serving a hot afternoon snack
Supporting and supervising homework time
Leading and facilitating indoor and outdoor play, creative activities, games, and group projects
Maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
Building strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
What We’re Looking For:
A warm, enthusiastic, and reliable individual with a genuine love for working with children aged 5–12
Minimum Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education, or a related field desirable but not essential
Previous experience in a childcare, afterschool, or youth work setting desirable
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive approach to teamwork and daily routines

  Enthusiastic, Qualified (Level 5 + in Childcare) Team member sought to work in a lovely Creche atmosphere. We deliver high quality care for children from 1 year to 9 years. Our Centre is modern and purpose built. We cater for 122 children in 7 separate Play rooms.
1 job is for part/full time hours over summer and the other full time on a permanent basis.
You will be working as part of a large Team (25 Staff members)
We are seeking cheerful professional individuals who are committed to teaching, caring for, supervising, and having fun with children.
Each Room is led by a qualified experienced Room Leader with 2/3/4 Team Members working together.
Knowledge of Siolta & Aistear an advantage.
